My daughter has a hand me down Dell Latitude d610 laptop. The previous owner “wiped it” and although it has a dvd rw drive we can’t get it to play dvd movies, is there a free fix for this?

If so, what? Also I have found a 16 GB ipad for 499 and a 32 GB ipad for 599. Is the extra 16 GB worth the extra 100 bucks? Thank you!

The iPad is literally just a big iPod Touch(I watched a friend open it. Just a bigger screen). And personally, I think it ranks up there on the stupid inventions list with the Snuggie. If you are willing to spend $ 600 on an iPad, you might as well just buy a laptop that performs better, holds almost 32 times more memory, looks cooler, and that you don’t have to buy a $ 100 stand for. But from a non-biased point of view, I don’t think you have to make any kind of payments.

I want a 32gb apple ipad touch but they are expencive and I don’t want to spend over 100 dollars? Where can i get one for that price?

it depends on the firwmare of your iphone.

I ve been trying to look for any way to jailbreak it. I tried to restore the phone but an error code(I forgot) showed up and wouldnt restore it. Thanks in advanc

I already did the tyhing where I double tap the start button clicked the no-entry signs. I turn it off and back on and no differences are ever made. I know its played in the highest quality unless you go onto youtube itself on Safari, but surely theres a way to play it in its highest quality and get the video to play quickly?

I used my friend Ipad for the first time and it was great. I can’t really afford a new ipad 2 so i’m shopping for an Ipad 1 possibly 3g but I’m not sure what price range is considered a good deal. How much should I expect to pay for a used Ipad 1?

I have a windows laptop running xp with no Internet connection. I have tried downloading iTunes from my husbands blackberry and installing it. It doesnt install properly because of something to do with QuickTime. I have uninstalled and reinstalled what was said to be needed and it still has not worked. I want to upgrade my iPhone 3GS from ISO 4.2.1 to ISO 5.0 is there anyway I can do this directly through my phone? I can reach wifi access on my phone if needed but I do not have that at the moment. If not, is there a way to direct download the update then transfer it to my iPhone using my laptop? Thank you in advance!

Well you have to have internet to install iOS 5! So I’m not sure how you can do that without internet! As far as I know you can’t!!!! No you can’t do it through your phone! You w2ill be able to update and or upgrade with your phone only after you install iOS 5! But you still have to have internet to do it! Just don’t need a computer after iOS 5 is installed!

I just installed update 5.0 to my iPhone 4. Everything from my back up got restored such as my music, photos, messages etc. However none of my apps appeared.

Ive gone in the app store. And it appears I don’t have to buy the apps again. I just have to reinstall them. I can see all of them in the “update” – “purchased” section of the app store. I don’t want to install each of them individually.
Has anyone else experienced this same problem? And if so, how did you resolve it??

I have gone into the iTunes app section aswell. the only apps that appear there are the ones i had purchased and downloaded from a previous iPhone 3G. None of the apps i have downloaded from my iPhone 4 appear there.

Simply, synchronize all of your downloaded apps from the apps section in iTunes. From there, you can chose which apps to be installed. If you don’t see any apps there (in the app sections) go to “store”, then “check for available downloads”.
