Do you mean “iOS 5″? Well first off iOS 5 isn’t out yet and won’t be for a few months, I am an apple developer and we’re still working on it. If you would like a pre-release of iOS 5 then sign-up to become an apple developer at http://developer.apple.com/

I’ve read several places that I might get a smoother installation if I wait a while to upgrade my iPad or my wife’s iPhone to iOS 5. How long should I wait? A week? A month?
A smoother installation sounds good to me…

To be honest, I just downloaded it and it was pretty cool… It was smooth and I just set it off and went to bed, woke up and it was sorted. You don’t have to wait, it is running great my devices right now…

Somehow my google search thing disappeared and now I have yahoo (which I hate) I need to know how to change it back, on the iPad. Know how to do it on the the computer but not on the iPad

First, I’ll answer the short version: unfortunately, apple made it impossible for you to be able to do that for a multitude of reasons that even I, a previous employee, don’t understand. To fix the problem – what exactly is wrong with your computer? Did the harddrive fail? If not, you can have the HD removed and buy an enclosure from newegg.com for mega cheap! What’s the reasoning for this? To be able to plug your old computer’s HD into your dad’s computer and transfer your music onto his computer. There should be a way to create a new library on a PC (just hold down the ‘option’ key on a mac when you click on itunes) so that you can access the HD and create a new library without mixing your music with your dad’s. By doing this, you won’t lose a thing, you’ll update your iphone, AND you’ll have your entire old computer in the palm of your hand. Win.

If your tryin to get music get the app iDownload you get free music (the icon is lime green)

My screen is bright when my ac charger is plugged into my laptop but, it goes darker when it isnt plugged in. How do i adjust the screen brightness on my Dell Latitude E 5400 laptop that runs windows 7?
