can i sell my apple iphone 4?
i have had it for nine months so do you think i could sell my iphone when the iphone 5 comes out and do an early upgrade?

Well you would be able to get about $ 300-$ 500 for your iphone 4, but a new iphone 5 is going to cost around $ 700 without an upgrade. Also, there is going to be very little upgrade from the 4 to the 5. There won’t be much different in the newer version. In my opinion, just keep your iphone 4 and you’ll be fine.
You can sell your iphone, but YOU will be responsible for fulfilling the remainder of your contract if you got a discount (price subsidized by a cell contract). ALMOST ALL will allow you to “buy off” the rest of the commitment, OR you could coordinate with the guy that buys your older phone. I would NOT trust that scenario. If you’ve ever watched any of those court tv shows ALOT have to do with people and unpaid cell phones.
IF you buy a new iphone5 in september, you can always pay full price OR you can get a discount by signing for NEW contract. EACH phone has its own SEPARATE COMMITMENT if you want the reduced price.
Early upgrades are usually only within about two months of the fulfillment of the original contract and apple products are USUALLY excluded by MOST carriers. Your carrier might be different and of course it also depends on your past history with your carrier. If you have 10 years of ontime payment, they might give you a break.
The new iphone5 is going to be REMARKABLY similar to the ipad2.
