How do I get ripped music from my computer onto iTunes and then onto my iPhone 4?

I have a ton of good songs on my computer from CD’s that I have ripped. I want them on my iTunes, so I can put them on my iPhone. How do I do this?

Select all your music files > Drag them into iTunes (via the Library > Music section) > then sync with your iPhone connected to iTunes.
