How long will it take until the iPad 2 price will drop? And how much will it drop?
500$ sounds a little too much for me so i was wondering how much the basic 16gb ipad 2 with wifi will cost later on.

the way i see it , apple products will always stay the same high price because of their good quality !
The only time the ipad 2 will drop is when the ipad 3 comes out. and only by $ 50 or so. apple never has sales. Personally im one of those people who upgrade my apple products every year so if you want drop me a line when the new ipad/iphone/mac comes out next year and id give you a deal on it
Apple had an online sale during Christmas. iPads and iPods went down around $ 50 and the MacBooks went down around $ 100. Other than that, it will stay the same. Sometimes, Walmart offers products a little cheaper and sometimes has a program where if you buy the product, they will send you a gift card. Also, buying from Target with a Target RedCard credit card (what I did) saves you 5%. If you are absolutely desperate, you can get an iPad 1, 16gb refurbished for $ 329 from the Apple store. Or you can always wait until iPad 2′s become available in the refurbished section. Go to store.apple.com and scroll to the bottom. Then click “refurbished iPad”.

$ 500 is a lot of money but the iPad 2 is awesome. The price may drop in the fall when the iPad HD is released. Apple has also just opened up testing for the iPad HD. You may be able to become a beta tester and then keep the iPad for free
